"Recent admittance to A&E then transfer to Felsted Ward"

I was on holiday here from Spain to celebrate my birthday. A few days later I had breathing problems and was admitted to hospital where I was diagnosed with COPD.

I cannot praise highly enough the staff I met during my 8 days in Broomfield Hospital. Such wonderful cheerful, caring people despite their position and role within the A&E and respiratory wards. Not only the staff, but the voluteers too, who always came in with a cheery smile and a laugh.

It was not how I intended to end my visit to England, but I could not have wished for a better place to be while I was not well. Some of the staff's names are indeliby printed in my memory, but those whose names I can't remember will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much everyone, and I hope to be able to return to Spain very soon and begin writing a short story on my birthday and the unexpected events which took place following my party.
