I was admitted in May after feeling ill for weeks but hesitated going ton my doctor as I do not like or trust them but my husband took the decision from me, made an appointment and before I knew it I was being driven to hospital. From the moment I was seen in A and E, approx 5 minutes after arriving my treatment was superb, from A&E to Clinical Diagnostics Unit to Ward 7B I can not fault any of the Doctors, Nurses, Auxilliary Nurses, Domestic Staff I was treated with dignity and the best medical care I have ever experienced. I even ate the food that I had chosen (for me this was a mirical) as I am a very fussy eater. My only complaint is the time it takes the Pharmacy to get the prescribed medication up to the wards so that the patient can go home, for me it was 5.30 pm before I could leave, I had been waiting since 10.30 am, the nurse in charge continuously chased the Pharmacy but to no avail, this is one department which let's the hospital down. We were thinking of moving to another County BUT I cannot take the chance of having a bad Respiratory Consultant or Department hence our decision to stay in a Lincolnshire BUT if I have to be rushed in again I will only go to The Pilgrim Well done all of you for making me feel better than I did and for all your care and support.
"Very impressed with my treatment"
