What I liked

The staff and doctors at Spinal Neurosurgery department and especially the consultant and his secretary were exceptionally helpful and reassuring.

I am now less nervous about further treatment I may have as they have been quick to provide information I need and answer any questions I have.

I attended outpatients today and expected my appointment to be over in 5 minutes, I was very surprised to have almost half an hour with the doctor. the doctor is also willing to work with other specialists to ensure that I have the most appropriate treatment.

All the staff I came across today were helpful, friendly and reassuring-even though I have never been to the hospital before it was easy to find where to go and what I needed to do when (I also liked the range of shops in the hospital)

although I have been unwell for some time now- I think I can now look forward to what i hope will be a rapid recovery

What could be improved

just a small point but seemed much too warm and stuffy in the waiting room!
