What I liked
The Ward accommodation was excellent -
I was allocated a very clean and comfortable side room with my own ensuite facilities. The Ward Staff, Theatre Staff and Clinicians were all extremely professional and caring - making me feel at ease and more comfortable pre-operatively and post-operatively.
What could be improved
Communication - Unfortunately the Ward Staff neglected to inform me that my husband had telephoned asking after me.
Hungry - I was left for a long time after surgery before any food was offered to me.
Anything else?
The patientline - telecommunications system is an excellent facility.
