"Very impressed by the efficiency of Specsavers"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was referred to my doctor by the optician at Specsavers – Wellington. He was concerned about pressure in one of my eyes. He told me to expect to be contacted about an appointment with an “eye specialist” within a month.

I was most surprised to receive an appointment within that period as I have been waiting since December for an appointment with a COPD clinic since last December. I am very impressed by the efficiency of Specsavers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the TRAQS team.

I am pleased that your initial appointment at your opticians resulted in a prompt appointment with a consultant and hope that you are now feeling the benefit of your treatment.

Unfortunately some specialities do have a longer waiting list than others and that is why TRAQS offer all patients the option of travelling for an earlier appointment whenever appropriate.
