"First class service very well cared for"

About: Spire Cheshire Hospital

I had a hernia operation performed at this hospital on 17 Jul 2014. I was admitted as a day case, however I did not return from surgery until late evening and was advised by the staff that I should stay overnight so as to receive the right kind of after care treatment. Nothings was too much trouble. I have never had an operation, broken bone etc. so the experience was unique to me. I went with the attitude knowing that I could not fix the problem myself, I didn't go in fearful, more of let's get it done, I am in safe hands. How true this turned out to be. I was spoken to at all stages before, up to the op and after. Felt in safe hands throughout the procedure. The best words to describe the whole ordeal are "professional, cared for throughout, made to feel I belonged there, nothing was too much trouble" Would recommend the hospital to anyone without any hesitation. Even upon check out the following morning I was taken to the reception by a member of staff escorting me in the lift and carrying my bag. Never experienced anything like this before - a very grateful thank you from me.
