(as a carer),

My husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2005 and Lung Cancer in 2006 the lung cancer spreading to his Brain in 2012 he sadly died on in July this year.

The diagnosis was speedy the treatment excellent. My Husbands consultant Dr Windsor was so on the ball spotting the as she put it the wee spot on the Lung when doing Ct scan to set up for Radiotherapy for the prostate.

The Lung then became the priority my husbands consultant Dr Casasola was an extraordinary man so approachable my Husband had complete faith in him and am sure we had so many more years together because of him.

Sadly the cancer spread to his brain 2012 but the same swift treatment and support was received from this wonderful man always available and human in every way

So thank you to Dr Casasola Dr Windsor and our wonderful Doctor and district nurses

Please accept my sincere condolences on the sad death of your husband. I really appreciate you taking the time to send us this message especially during what must be a difficult time for you. The care and attention your husband received is what he and every patient deserves. The staff in the Tayside Cancer Centre have set themselves high standards and work very hard to make sure they provide the best possible care to everyone they look after. I will pass on your kind comments to Dr Windsor, Dr Casasola and the team. I am sure they will be pleased to know how much you appreciated their efforts.
