"Anxiety & Depression Therapy"

About: Inclusion Matters Sefton

(as the patient),

When I first attended I was anxious and depressed. Tina listened sympathetically and helped me to understand why I felt like that. She helped me to work through strategies to value myself and improve my confidence. She cleverly identified means of doing this that related to my professional skills. My anxiety finally disappeared and my depression lifted.

She also gave me tricks and tips for future use, should I fall back back into anxiety and depression. Fortunately I have not so far had to use them!

The advice was often hard to take, but was always proved to be correct, and it was given in an understanding and friendly manner. I was always able to relate to the principles that were put to me. I now feel much happier and more confident than I have ever felt and my mental condition continues to strengthen.

At times such therapy is difficult and painful but Tina was there to support me each week. My only regret is that now my treatment is over I am no longer able to meet with her each week.

Wonderful life changing therapy! !

Thank You

Response from Elizabeth Forrest, CBT Therapist, Inclusion Matters

Dear 'sax315',

Many thanks to you for taking the time to leave your feedback for us on Patient Opinion. It is always good for us to hear about peoples experiences with our service.

I think it's true that you only get out of treatment what you put into it, and it sounds as though you put a lot into your treatment with Tina. I'm pleased to hear that those efforts have paid off and that you are now feeling more confident, less anxious and less depressed. Hopefully your words will encourage others to come for treatment.

I will pass your positive feedback onto Tina,

Best wishes for the future - and don't forget to use those 'tricks and tips if needed'!
