"Our matron has been very helpful"

About: Central Lancashire PCT / Community nursing

(as the patient),

The matron has always been helpful when we have been coping with mothers illness. She has developed a relationship with my mother which is not easy. She always listens to our concerns and helps organising mothers care. We would like to thank her.

Dear Future108

It is clear from your comments that the service your mother has received from her Community Matron has not only supported her as the patient, but also you and carers and relatives. Providing this kind of support is key to ensuring that your mother's condition can continue to be managed at home.

It would be helpful if you could let me know the name of the Matron in question so that I can make sure she knows how appreciated she is.
