"Very long waiting times"

About: Guy's Hospital

My son got a head injury and was taken to Guy's Hospital Global Maze Pond. It was very diaappointing to see that only one doctor was attending a long queue of patients, out of them many required an urgent attention. The expected waiting time was 2.5 hours!! This definitely needs to be paid attention. It is extremely inconvenient to wait for that long !

I apologise for your experience at Guys UCC. We have been experiencing increasing numbers of patients attending Guys UCC over the last few months and we are working on measures to reduce the waiting times. We have been trialling an extra doctor in the afternoons and are now going to extend this to cover the midday period as well. We will monitor this situation closely and make the appropriate adjustments. I hope your son is making a good recovery and thank you for taking the time to give us feedback.
