"Shameful parking charges as usual"

About: Good Hope Hospital

Went into A&E early Monday morning (approximately 8am). There was a single clinician on duty so waiting over an hour with only one person 'ahead' of us. The waiting room wasn't particularly clean. Clinicians I saw were fine, although it would of been nice to tell me what I was waiting for them to do. The parking costs for the hospital are a disgrace- £4.75 for four hours (2 hours is £3.75). The money raised from parking goes towards building a multi-storey car park so patients and staff will see no benefit. It's run by G4S so no surprises there.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. I was sorry to hear that the waiting room wasn't clean and that you did get updated as to what was keeping you waiting. I will forward your post to the A+E team so they can address the issues you have raised-our A+E has been very busy this week but the least we can do is keep you informed. I don't, however, have any control over the parking charges but I will forward your post to the relevant team for consideration.
