"A and E visit"

We were referred to the A and E today from the walk in service in Halifax, and I would have to say that every person that we came into contact with was pleasant and helpful, in what must be one of the hardest jobs on the planet! The place was so busy all of the 7 and a ha;lf hours that we were there, and yet everyone continued to do their very best for us. Of course there are issues, when parts of the hospital are not open out of hours, when we were sent for a scan to be told that the person we were going to see had just gone home, that we were there for all that time with no chance of a cup of tea or food for my mum, but these were minor things in what was a worrying time for us all. Thank you to all staff for their help.
