"my stay in resus critical care and 9b north..."

About: Lister Hospital

I stayed in critical care and 9b north respiratory care ward. Both wards were excellent and the staff were amazing in looking after me. I was upset at times and treated with care and compassion. The dietician was extremely helpful and I learnt a lot from her. I wish thw physios had seen me quicker as it took a week of asking to see them. The only criticism of my stay was that I was at the Ladies end of the ward and not one of the 3 toilets had a clinical waste bin in, just a black sack bin. As I have an ileostomy I require a clinical waste bin when I change my bag & obviously ladies require these bins for tena pants etc. Even the housekeepers were lovely and the cleaner always had a smile which cheered me up. I would score both wards and resus too 100 per cent and would like my thanks passed to all the people responsible for my care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to send this feedback. We will share your thoughts with the teams involved (including the one about the bin!). We hope you’re on the mend now and feeling much better.
