"Poor care"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

My daughter has been admitted in 3 times she has a rare condition and I know the hospital do not know how to deal with this, they never communicated between doctors and had to repeat myself more times then I can remember. The nurses didn't discuss anything they were doing to my daughter at any time and in an occasion where and was transferred to another hospital the nurse did not hand over important information and I was left to fill in the missing information. I was not offered any support from staff or any restbite throughout my time there.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on the care of your daughter under Children's services in 2012. I am sorry for this experience, and that you were not offered support from the staff during your daughter's stay. The paediatric team have been working hard to ensure our patients get the very best care over the last two years, and were recognised during the recent 2014 CQC visit for the good service they provide. The team are striving to make continuous improvements and I will ensure your comments are fed back to the clinical leaders. Kind Regards Claire Marshall Associate Director of Patient Experience and Public Involvement
