The ward is very friendly from the staff nurse to the cleaners the medical team were excellent the ward had newly opened following a re-fit the teenage room is excellent with lots of things for them to pass the time , the ward itself is quite cramped in the bays not much room around the bed space for parents stay over . The food was awful if you like processed food then you will love it, no variety a 5 day stay resulted in chick nuggets , fish fingers bit hover cooked , turkey burgers 2 days in a row veg curry , fish pie cheese potato pie chips with everything. No fruit , no pasta no fibre no nice sandwiches or panninis . I did ask if any thing else was available and was offered a pot noodle , I ended up bringing my own food in for my son , as I write this I happen to be watching a chef as he is trying to sort out the food at ROH with a smile on my face On a positive the cooked breakfast in the cafe was great .
