"I just want to say thank you "

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

Last week in the morning I was really concerned about my husband, who is a victim of multiple strokes. I phoned the 111 service who ordered an ambulance to attend. The ambulance arrived within minutes and my husband was very quickly assessed by two really nice paramedics, Neil and Rob, who were professional, kind and considerate. Fortunately my husband was fine and did not need to be hospitalised. I just want to say thank you to Neil and Rob and to the South West Ambulance Service.

Dear Rose Killey

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your husband is recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most. Not every patient needs to go to hospital and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is committed to delivering better and better care every year, ensuring that all our patients get the right care in the right place at the right time.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto Neil and Rob who came to your husbands aid. Would you be able to contact me, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk or call 01392 453831, at your convenience, with the date and address that the ambulance attended? This wll ensure that they are recognised for the care they gave.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards
