"The Professor & Team"

I was diagnosed with an esophageal tumour in 2008 & had a 2 Stage Esophagectomy operation at the RVI that lasted 12 hours in January 2009. The professor & his Team saved not just my life that day, but also in no small way that of my immediate family & close friends! It is often forgotten that each patient has not just an immediate family but possibly also Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, etc. and the outcome of the Brilliant treatment and care given by these Amazing people has far reaching benefits for everyone involved. I have my 5th year assessment on Monday 14th July, and I owe those 5 years and hopefully many more to come, to each and every member of Staff from the Outstandingly Brilliant professor & his Medical & Nursing Team, all the way down the list to the Auxilliaries & Porters. Each and every one will modestly tell you that they are merely doing their job, but to myself and all those others who owe our lives to them both now & in the Future, they are deserving of the Highest Accolade and Respect. Thank God for People like them.
