I was knocked off my cycle by a vehicle who never stopped. I was in extreme pain in my shoulder and very bruised one of which was 9inches in circumference in the hip area. The streaming nurse was helpful and after X-ray of just the shoulder, a manwith specialist printed on a badge came into the room checked my shoulder and said because I had a previous injury 3years ago I would always have a bad problem with a frozen shoulder, one X-Ray was ok but there was a problem showing on the X-ray of the 2nd one. Told the nurse to give me a physio leaflet and left. The nurse tried to stop him to remind him of the bruise on my hip and so on but he just waved his hand and left the room. She apologised for his attitude. I found the man bumptious rude and annoying especially when he kept patting a shoulder that was extremely painful and still is after 4weeks. He never explained to me what was the problem on the second X-Ray, which I find very unprofessional. My husband wanted to take me to another hospital, but after that episode I was too angry and feeling awful and in pain. Also I think the staff especially doctors should have their names printed on a label attached to their clothing, not just specialist as if they are a holy being.
