"I had a fibia plate"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I broke my fibia in two places and was referred to hill by the doctor who recently treated me. The surgeons were amazing telling me the pros and cons of the procedure needed to take. It wasn't until I was on the ward that I was disgusted by the level of care I was treated with. Not only did the not attend to my buzzer for at least half an hour causing me to nearly have embarrassing accidents due to the fact that I'm in my 20s. But once on the toilet I was left for 30-45mins at one point it got to an hour that the pain was unbearable that I had to push myself back to my bed. To find it stripped to be changed. Then I was told it was going to be done soon and after 30 mins I ended up making it myself. Upon finally been released one of the care staff said to my partner. As quoted "good luck with her, you're going to need it" I am shocked if this is their level of compassion and empathy.
