On Friday 4th July I was due to be induced because my second daughter was two weeks late, I was admitted to the antenatal ward where it took a while to be seen because the ward was soo busy but all the staff were very friendly, due to lack of beds on labour ward I was told I couldn't be induced until possibly the next day, I spontaneous went into labour at 12:50am and was told my partner was not allowed to come onto the ward despite the fact there were private rooms available and I was in labour, I was frightened and scared and the ward was soo busy I basically got left on my own, at 03:50am my waters broke and I was allowed to go downstairs to labour ward where I was greeted by my midwife. My room was clean and organised, my midwife was calm, reassuring, kind, sympathetic, patient and just wonderful throughout my labour as were any other member of staff that walked in during my labour, after a couple of ups and downs during my labour my daughter was born at 07:30am. Every single member of staff on labour ward was fantastic and I cannot honestly praise them enough! There was no rush to leave, I was looked after soo well by everyone! Before I left the midwife went through any concerns or worries I had and spent time in explaining and reassuring both me and my partner. Labour ward and all the staff honestly were amazing! Thankyou soooo much!
"glad I chose this hospital."
