"A and e department"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

I visited A and E today with my 90 year old mother after she had a fall. I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and attention. From the porters, ambulance staff, nurses, doctors, fall assessment team, social services, do I need to go on. Not only did they treat my Mum with respect but went out of their way to make her feel at ease. She even had a quick kiss goodbye to the assessment gentleman. Many thanks for making her day end much happier than it started xxx

Firstly can I say that I hope your mother has recovered from her recent fall. Then to say thank you for taking the time to write your mother's story. I will make sure that the matron for our Emergency Department (ED) is aware of your comments as the staff will be delighted with the accolade. It has been a very busy few months for the staff in ED and that they continue to provide such personalised care is a credit to them. Thank you again.
