"A&E Visit"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

I visited this A&E department for the first time today (Tuesday) Lunchtime When I arrived I was expecting to be there all day especialy seeing a packed waiting area. I was checked in promtly. Triaged with 15 mins and then had a 1hr 45 min wait to be seen, followed by a promt X-Ray and a 10 min wait to be seen by the Dr again. Over all Was there just over 3 hours including being seen. The department looked busy but to be running efficiently and the staff were helpful and professional. Over all an excelent experience! Keep up the good work and efficiency.

Thank you for your comments posted on the NHS Choices and Patient Opinion websites regarding the care you received in the Trust’s Accident and Emergency Department. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought that the care you received was prompt and efficient and that staff were helpful and professional despite the fact that the Department appeared busy. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the A&E manager and the staff involved.
