(as the patient),

I recently had a 12 day stay in GJNH following an operation on my ascending aorta. While I was a patient I had a number of complications, but the care I received was outstanding in every respect. The staff were courteous, explained everything fully and most importantly treated me as an individual. For example, staff knocked on the door before entering the room.

I have had significant experience of NHSScotland over the years, as a patient and as a member of staff. The care I received at GJNH is exactly as I would wish all patients to receive and the food isn't bad either!
