I had to stay overnight at wansbeck due to complications with my op. Staff were caring and on the ball at all times. I had previously heard from a friend about her horrific time in ward 4 two years ago but it was obvious to me that everything had been improved since then. Dear Denise, Thanks a lot for sharing this with us. I was naturally disappointed to hear that your friend had a rough time on ward 4 two years ago. I can appreciate how this might have raised concerns for you about the care you were about to receive. It's great to hear that your own experience was very different from this and that every member of the team that you came into contact with displayed the professional and caring behaviours that we would expect from all our staff.
