Generally staff cared for my relative who was a patient and were helpful to visitors

What could be improved

I was very disappointed at the state of the public toilets; I know the hospital cannot be responsible for the way visitors treat the facilities but I feel the toilets were generally unclean and smelly; one toilet I had to use a lot had the seat hanging off, obviously had not been cleaned for some time, with the walls, doors and floors being grubby, the waste bines were full, old and grubby - an unpleasant experience which makes one question what the areas are like that you cannot see! It is so sad that people who look after the hospital seem to take no pride in what they do.
