"2 Hour Delay"

About: Euxton Hall Hospital

Had an appointment to see Orthopaedic Consultant at 4.30pm After sitting and waiting at 5.45pm I went to see what was happening, only to be told the consultant was running nearly 2 hours behind time. Unfortunately, for me I had another appointment at 6.30pm so could not stay and wait to see the Orthopaedic Consultant. The Receptionist didn't bother to come and tell anyone waiting about the delay, so I wasted over an hour just sitting there, and by the time we found out, it was too late to rearrange my 6.30pm appointment. Very unprofessional of the receptionist not to keep patients informed.
