"Bowel Cancer care"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

My husband has recently been treated at WUHT for bowel cancer. having undergone major surgery he has now been transferred to the Clatterbridge centre for oncology. At all times we have been treated with care and compassion. He has made a remarkable recovery which is a result of the partnership in care between ourselves and the bowel cancer specialist nurses, the stoma nurses and the ward staff. We are very grateful to all concerned

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Gastroenterology Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
