About: Barnet Hospital

My mother is in larch ward at present Some staff are brilliant others I don't know why they are there,the night team leave a lot to be desired Although she was in cdu before that and she had to phone me on her mobile in the night at 2.30am and ask me to phone the ward desk as her buzzer wasn't working and she needed the bed pan she was calling out but was down the other end of the ward from the desk. Why do you not see a ward doctor twice you explain things hoping to get things sorted then the next day another ward doctor has different views and nothing of what you discussed the day before has been noted down. How do you get the ward staff to believe that the hospital put a kidney stent in in December they say it's not on her notes are you sure ? She should have had a follow up How do we get her to see a urologist it needs changing urgently and is probably the cause of why she is in hospital. My mother has had many stays at barnet in the last year but I can honestly say it gets worse each time
