I would like to give huge thanks to everyone who looked after me at A&E, in theatre, and on Ward 2A earlier this week - with a very special mention for Jackie who was in charge of the ward on Monday and Tuesday night. Even though the ward was busy, Jackie always had a kind word for every patient, and was incredibly caring with everyone. On the day of my discharge everything was processed quickly and I was able to leave for home early in the afternoon. Could not have asked for better service.

From your post I guess you have broken a bone (or two) and you may still have pain or restriction on your movements, so it is very kind of you to take the time to contact us via Patient Opinion so soon.

I am delighted you had a good experience from start to finish; ideally, it should be that way for everyone. Yes I am an optimist – my glass is always half full, except when it is full of course. No, seriously, it is only with the help of feedback that we can improve things that need improving but also, very importantly, we can pass the credit on to where it is due.

I will be very happy to make sure that those who were involved in your care are aware of your post.
