On the whole very good but I can see that they are definitely understaffed on all shifts. In general language can be a problem making myself understood to somebody who doesn't speak good English.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding your stay on Castle Ward. I am pleased that you felt that your stay was generally a very good one - I will pass this on to the ward team.

Our wards can be very busy with the nursing staff working hard to look after our patients and ensure their health, well being and safety is maintained; we take great care to ensure that our wards are fully staffed and safe at all times.

I am sorry that you had problems communicating with some members of staff and will ask the nursing team to look at ways to improve communication where possible.
