"The whole team are a credit to the hospital"

I had major surgery 5 weeks ago today and have to say that every staff member I interacted with was helpful. From the anesthetist to the member of staff who did an amazing job of calming my nerves minutes before the operation to the surgeon right the way to the 2 lovely cleaners whom were even happy to re clean a room they had just cleaned as mine had no walk in shower. All the nurses were fab and I was nursed with compassion, empathy and humour something that made a stay in hospital easier than my past experiences. It felt like these people had the time to and wanted to care for patients. One was a great comfort at nights making me a brew just how i like it and another lovely person got me on my feet up and walking and encouraged me post op. (as well as laughed with me).
