"Hysterectomy"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

I was admitted on the 20th June to gate 40. My consultant was thorough with what she was going to do. The anethatist was excellent. Nursing staff excellent. My consultant was a lovely caring person. I had my operation and was taken to ward 34. The nurses which we're looking after me on the 1st night were were exceptional. I have to say one was an absolute angel. I was moved into ward 20 the next day and all the nursing team were lovely with all 5 of us. All the staff were happy , the meal staff and the tea lady's were cheerful, I think you need to be uplifted when your in hospital and they made sure you were. My nurse for the day was a very nice person, sharing her working day as a mother and having a job, brought back memories for when my son was young. My overall revue on this ward is second to none. I am one to complain when it's not right, but I am willing to say when it is. My stay and experience on this ward was exceptional My last day was the 23 June . The only downside was one nurse. Another nurse asked her if she was ok and she replied I,m sick of these buzzers if I,m honest. Meaning the buzzers that the patients press when they need a nurse, which we are told to press to call a nurse . I found the comment a bit callous but.....Thank goodness there was only one. Thank you to every one which was involved with my stay in ward 34. A big thank you.xxx
