I have been undertaking anti-TNF treatment for my condition of Psoriatic Arthritis.
My GP has been excellent in guiding me through the necessary consultations to achieve excellent results in controlling my condition.
The team working on behalf of the Rheumatology department at Doncaster Royal Infirmary have been excellent - very professional and helpful. The exception being the consultant Dr Lambert who has now retired - let's look forward.
The team involves Sister Adele Wright, who is 'old school' in her approach to ward cleanliness and being involved with her staff and patients.
Lesley Geddis and Kath Seymour who monitor and assess my blood results and arthritis activity levels are indeed 'angels', always vigilant and there to help.
The NHS is sometimes taken for granted - sometimes abused by others. For me, it has been excellent and given me a quality of life that has enabled me to continue working for at least the past 5 years and also enjoy my leisure activities. I hope it continues for many more years in the future.
