"The most arrogant and uncaring midwives"

Having had a good experience with other departments here we decided to have our third baby here. Everything leading up to delivery was fine and then we struggled to find a single midwife who showed any degree of compassion. They were generally rude, aggressive and did not seem to care at all. Midwife led care was given the hard sell with a nice birthing centre but thank god we didn't as the midwives here are the worst. My NCT friends who went to Hillingdon or Watford seem to have angels look after them but the 3 of us who came here all agree that there is a culture that must end. I remember some lovely nurses elsewhere in this hospital but these midwives are a disgrace.... They sit around gossiping and if you dare approach them, they bark at you and say 'yeah yeah i am coming'... and if you are lucky they do. You are constantly made to feel unwelcome and a real drain on their time. If it is not the patients i am not sure what they are here for. The worst was the lady who gave newborn injections who was so brash we felt intimidated to ask any questions from her. The cleaners also swan and out of your space with no regard for your privacy.... And then don't even clean! Please send the CQC in quick as this place is not an environment that is compatible with safe care.
