I went in to labour on the 17th November and my son was delivered the following day. The midwife was great but, due to personal reasons, I asked the midwife if a female doctor could check me over after labour and she said no, a female wasn't available. I found that very upsetting. Nonetheless, the midwife who delivered my son was great through the entire labour.
