My dad was treated at the Birmingham City hospital. From what I saw, he was on the ward from hell - it was terrible! The nurses we dealt with were overly strict with regards to visiting times. They would not let us on the ward to see my dad, but we were never told that visiting wasn't allowed when we first took him to the ward.
They were also rather rude to my dad. There was a distinct lack of care in the way I saw them speak and act towards him. Also, his food was taken away on several occasions before he had a chance to eat it.
The ward was loveless. I am going to talk to PALS in order to try and get a response about this from the hospital.
