"Community Matron takes good care of me"

About: Central Lancashire PCT / Community nursing

(as the patient),

I have my blood pressure tested every week. Unfortunately I was not well last week so the doctor came to visit me. I also have someone come every week to check my oxygen levels and to take a sample of urine. The community matron takes very good care of me. She takes her time and talks to me about my day and how I am feeling.

Dear Future471

I hope you are feeling a bit better since you had to ask the doctor to visit you. I would particularly like to thank you for providing your feedback about your experiences of the healthcare that is provided to you.

When your Matron spends time with you, talking about how you feel and what sort of day you have had, you must feel cared for and supported. I am pleased to hear that she takes good care of you.

As compliments like yours are always most welcome by NHS Central Lancashire, I will make sure that your comments are shared with the Community Matron Team.
