Referred by GP for surgical operation to removealmost 5 inches in diameter cyst on back in December 2013. Got appoint to see doctor in end of March and still waiting for operation date. Already had pre-operation assessment. Called clinic many times but got no satisfactory response. Just " You will receive a letter about operation date. We have a very long general waiting list and another daily emergency waiting list so cant tell you about operation date No tests have been done whether cyst is malignant or not. I don't know how one with pain can survive 6 months without knowing what he is carrying in his body. You can't sleep, sit, or travel. NHS promises for traetment within maximum of 18 weeks: five months whether you survive to see your treatment day or not. Now it has been more than 18 weeks. Worst than third world treatment in heart of first world!!
"Still waiting for operation after almost 6 months."
