What I liked

I have always had good experiences at St Mary's and love the new building for outpatients etc. STaff there were friendly and relaxed. Lots of laughter from a happy work force.

What could be improved

My only niggle is that switchboard operators are often terse and even outright grumpy! I have sometimes been put through to the wrong extensions. Callers will often be elderly and confused or vulnerable because they or loved ones are ill. Some TLC or at least good manners please from the switchboard. It lets the rest of the hospital down if your first contact is unfriendly and unhelpful.

A heartfelt thank you for generally excellent work over the years especially many years ago when the buildings were grim and must have been a horrid working environment.
