I was admitted to Pinderfield A & E on the 23rd February after collapsing, having suffered a total heart block. After a call to 999 a locally based volunteer attended, then a paramedic, then an ambulance . I was taken to Pinderfields A & E. Eventually I was taken to a coronory care ward where I was fitted with a pacemaker. I have to thank every single person who was involved in my care and ultimate recovery. Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Responders, Ward Staff, were all very professional and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I do not remember much of the incident, but what I do know is that if these people had not been available, or had not done their jobs as well as they did, I would not be writing this E Mail now. I obviously cannot thank every one of these people individually, but through the media of this column I would like to say a massive thankyou. xxx.
"Thankyou..."
