"Walk in clinic"

I had recently moved to the area and had not yet registered with a GP when I fell ill. I found details of the walk in minor injuries clinic online and called for advice. The person I spoke to was very helpful and the advice she gave regarding waiting times made it easier to decide when to visit. I was seen quickly once the clinic had opened at 08:00; I had arrived at 7:45 in an attempt to cut waiting time on a weekday. The nurse I saw was very helpful and kind, which was particularly good as the problem was slightly ‘personal’. I have sung the hospitals praises ever since.
