I had dislocated my hip and in some pain. The service I recieved from the health service from being transferred from home by the ambulance service, through A&E and placed onward 33 was exceptional. I was treated with dignity and respect throughout and kept fully informed of all aspects of my treatment and care throughout by nurses, doctors and consultants. When on ward 33 the staff from cleaners, care staff, nurses and sisters was excellent as was the clenliness of the ward and hospital in general. The management of the ward by the sister on duty during my stay was professional and inspired myself and other patients on the ward with confidence in the face of some adversity during my stay, the ward was especially busy on Sunday, 01/07/14. I was referred to the physio department and received a first class service, the physiotherapists were knowlegable, efficient and very friendly. Specialist equipment was delivered and fitted in my home in super quick time to effect a speedy return. Overall a very positive stay which ensured a quick return home. Many thanks to all.
"I was admitted to ward 33 via A&E on 30/05/14."
