A year ago I was diagnosed for the 2nd time with breast cancer. From start to finish the care was outstanding. I had to visit the breast screening dept on quite a few occasions. I was always treated with care and kindness.
The radiographers were very efficient and explained everything even though I had been through it before. I felt very confident that I would get the best treatment available.
I had to have chemo and radiotherapy at Weston Park who also were fantastic, I also had 4 operations in Rotherham and the doctors were all so caring I was given lots of information. I had visits at home from breast care nurses and district nurses and here I am one year later recovered and back at work all thanks to the staff at Rotherham and Sheffield.
Why are people always complaining about the NHS? I for one think we are very lucky to have such a great system. So thanks for all the care and well done on the outstanding care you gave me at Rotherham and Sheffield. I think the people who live in this area should count themselves very lucky at the standard and availability of specialist care we have.
