About: Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust / Psychiatric intensive care

(as the patient),

On two occassions at Maranda House I placed a ligature around my neck and staff failed to remove the ligatues and left me to pass out or go unconscious while watching laughing and mocking me as I lay on the toilet floor finding it difficult to breathe.

I was left totally unobserved at one point as I had blocked the view to the seclusion room.

The picu was severely understaffed and made it a dangerous environment with patients needs going unmet daily.

We do take the safety of people in our care extremely seriously and everything that is brought to our attention is logged and fully investigated.
