"the consultats approach was ..."

About: Salford Royal

(as the patient),

What I liked

the consultats approach was straight forward and to the point but was contray to his assistant consultant, who made comments to the fact of that there was nothing wrong with me,(i had to laugh at that one)...

What could be improved

communication with the info that was at hand in my case file and for the assistant consultant to learn some manners, and read my hospital file instead of second guessing...

Anything else?

i found myself comparing the ostio team to my pain clinic and found that was a mistake, the pain team are proffesional and courtess, not like the consultant i saw on the 22nd of dec2008,he was rude un-proffesional and non-caring and implied that there was nothing wrong with me,so why do i have a spinal coloum stimulater in me trying to contol the pain in my left knee, which has been giving considerable pain for 15 yrs,the only saving grace was mr wilkes who i found to be honest and proffesional and informative,if i knew i was going to see a different consultant than the main consultant then i would of cancelled as this has happened before .You wait months or even years for these referalls, then they treat you with content and as if are there waisting their time
