"Inguinal Hernia mesh repair"

On the 28th March 2014 I went into Newark Hospital Minster ward for a mesh repair on a right side Inguinal Hernia. I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with all the staff on the ward. They explained everything and answered any questions I had. When I went in for the Op, the whole Theatre team were amazing, I wasn't left on my own at all and even though very nervous they made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Once back on the ward, the nurses ensured that I was comfortable and even though they were keeping an eye on me (my oxygen levels had dropped) they left me to do what I wanted; which at that point was to just sleep :)! They didn't rush me to get up and start moving about, and did at my own time and pace. Top quality care that this country should be proud of, keep up the awesome work guys.
