"Bad experience"

About: The Royal London Hospital

After months of waiting for appointment then surgery, I came to the ward, admitted in a room with 2 other patients, both men, I'm a woman. We were all wearing gowns, unacceptable with single sex accommodation. Surgery at 08:00, came into recovery at 12:30, finally returned to HDU at 19:30, as they never had a bed available for me, was even talking of transferring me to another hospital??? Care by the nurses on the ward was great, all except one HCA, made me lay flat on my back to do my BP, with a large head wound at the back of my head, even though I said to him I can't it hurts my head! On day 6, I was discharged home at 10:00, but had to wait till 20:00 for my medications to take home! I have made a complaint, but was fobbed off with every excuse under the sun... But basically they said all the way through from first appointment to discharge... "it's not our fault, unforeseen circumstances, locum secretaries, emergencies, bed managers and my own local hospitals fault!" So I give up!! Would never go there again! :(
