"utter disgust"

after being in hospital many times this last 6 months and given the most wonderful care and attention , and even requesting and speaking to the matron to praise how wonderful the staff were on these wards , i was then sent in again and ended up on 104 a surgical day unit , which apart from the fact i was told a CT scan would be given not long after arrival, i was not having any other proceedures dne , i was diagnosed with adisons disease at christmas after spending the first 4 weeks in hosp ,on ward 230, and then been readmitted to wards 123 twice and the infectious disease unit prior to this adnittance, what wondeful staff were on those wards , i could not have been treated any better than the duches of cambridge , on ward 104 i was starved and nil by mouth for nearly 36 hours waiting for CT scan which was plainly not happening till the following day, but still told to be nil by mouth , i have even had a carers package pit into plce to help me out as although i turne it down on several occasions being only 54 it became obvious that i did need something , and what a wonderful job they d , but on ward 104 i was told off like a naughty schoolchild for reading my notes , i was always under the impression i could trad the notes at the end of the bed , as have done on every ward i have ever been on in the last 30 years , i said i was alllowed on the other wards to view them and was promptly asked for the names /numbers of those wards which were written down , i have been accused and its written in the notes of deliberatley removing my canula , no a doctor had already seen it and said it did;nt look very secure and tried ti get the gauze to stick beter to my skin, not long after and i am not blaming doctor here by the way as he was trying to help me, when i lifted my hand up there was blood on the sheets and had pooled over the sides onto the floor , i would never pull my cannula out as i gave such awdu veins they are a stryggke ti even get them in , i had about the last tenth of the third bag of bicarb of soda going up to counter the contrast fye as i have stage 3 kidne disease , but in my notes thre were comments like ?????? patient seems to use medical terminology , well yes have been in for so many things as i could;nt list them all here or else there would be no more space left to write, so because i have a few rare conditions , plus my mum being a fully retired nursing sister and also a care worker myself for nearly 2 years many years back , am so sorry to have picked up medical terminology,as i would class myself a normal bright enough person and some of these illnesses i really have had to learn a lot ofi information on them , to the point that even your own docrtors ask what exactly dies such and such do , so its fine for me to explain very detailed and crucial sometimes life-threatening info to them , i have learned some things , i have never though ever professesed to being a qualified doctor or even a nurse , also much more told
