"Broken wrist on bank holiday Monday !"

I was admitted to A & E on bank holiday Monday with a broken arm and cared for and dealt with in 1 and a half hours, very impressive on any day, never mind a bank holiday! I was later admitted to Wensleydale Ward for an operation. I was in a bit of a panic as I was due to leave on a very important trip in just a few days. Everyone decided that I would make my trip, from the fracture clinic, to the ward, to the operating theatre, everyone pushed to get me admitted, operated on, recovered and home to get ready for my trip. Never underestimate Harrogate Hospital when it is on a mission. I made my trip and am forever grateful to those hardworking, caring professionals who made it happen. I could not have wished for better treatment, an all round outstanding team of people. ,
