"Exemplary professionalism from all the team"

About: County Hospital Louth / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to Fotherby Ward for an operation on my knee and would like to record my thanks and admiration for my treatment. In days when the NHS frequently comes under fire for all sorts of things (many outside its control) I believe it is necessary to recognise when things operate particularly well.

I am aware that my operation was simple and unremarkable on the scale of things that come within the Trust’s purview but nonetheless it was clearly a team working at the top of their game and as a result showed exemplary professionalism. Adjectives that spring to mind are calm, kind, organised, thoughtful and hard-working; and those skills were demonstrated by all members of the team throughout the day.

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

As a team we are very proud to recieve such high praise, the team works very hard to ensure that the patient recieves a positive experience. The team are very dedicated in their work and to recieve such positive feedback really shows that this hard work and commitment are recognised by the patients we come into contact with.
